Hon’ble Member of Parliament Shri Bishnu Pada Ray met the newly joined Chief Secretary of the Andaman and Nicobar Administration, Shri Gyanesh Bharti, IAS, on Wednesday and extended his best wishes for his tenure.
During the meeting, the MP discussed various developmental issues concerning the Islands, including matters pending for implementation. He emphasised the need for timely action on issues affecting the people and the overall development of the Union Territory.
Shri Ray expressed confidence that Shri Gyanesh Bharti’s administrative experience and familiarity with the Andaman and Nicobar Islands would contribute to addressing important public issues and further accelerating developmental and welfare initiatives across the Islands.
The meeting comes as the newly joined Chief Secretary assumes charge of the Administration, with expectations of continued focus on development and public welfare.
