The Andaman & Nicobar Police have informed the public that emergency helpline numbers 100 and 112 are temporarily unavailable due to technical issues. Alternative contact numbers have been provided for emergency assistance.

Sri Vijaya Puram, June 14:

The Andaman & Nicobar Police have issued a public advisory informing residents that the emergency helpline numbers 100 (Police) and 112 are currently not functioning due to unforeseen technical snags.

According to the advisory, efforts are underway to restore the services at the earliest. The police have expressed regret for any inconvenience caused and urged the public not to panic during the temporary disruption.

To ensure uninterrupted access to emergency assistance, residents have been requested to use alternative contact numbers provided by the police for various police stations and the Police Control Room.
